MCLA To Host Informational Session

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) will host an information session on its fall semester program offerings on Thursday, Aug. 4, at 6:30 p.m. at the Intermodal Center in Pittsfield. The Office of Admission is still accepting applications for this fall semester. Classes start Sept. 7 and students can register up until Sept. 6. Members of the MCLA admissions staff will provide information to those who are interested in MCLA’s 19 bachelor degree programs, the newly launched Professional MBA (PMBA) program; Fast-Track accelerated degree program and the Master’s of Education (M.Ed.). This event will provide an opportunity to ask questions and to learn more about what these programs have to offer. Designed to meet the needs of the working adult learner, the PMBA program offers courses that meet in a combination of online and face-to-face instruction. This accelerated program requires a minimum of 30 credits of graduate business courses to be completed in less than two years. Students will proceed through the program in a cohort model, in which groups progress through their courses together, forming a supportive learning community and modeling collaborative and team skills vital to business and organizational success. Fast-Track is an option for busy adults who want to go back to school and complete their Bachelor’s degree. Graduates of Fast-Track will receive the same degree as traditional four-year college students. The program offers two degree completion programs; business administration and interdisciplinary studies – both in a compressed timeframe.
